Letting Go

InShot_20170315_095310After having an eating disorder for a very long time, it’s hard to just “let it go”. It becomes a part of you, and you feel like you aren’t truly you without it. It becomes a part of your identity; however, I just recently read an inspiring, thought-provoking article about ways of not letting your eating disorder define who you are.

So let’s give it a try.

I’m not Paige the “recovering Anorexic”….

I am kind.
I am smart.
I am funny.
I am loyal.
I am cute.
I love to laugh.
I am very messy and unorganized 😉.
I am a sister.
I am a friend.
I was once a girl who suffered from Anorexia.
I am strong.

Never let a mental illness take control of who you think you are. You and I are so much more.
